Each Jimmy Grants venue is designed around a unique central theme that sets it apart from the others. In Richmond, we told the story of Jimmy’s home, the quintessential Australian post-war, suburban brick dwelling.
The interior, composed with recycled cream brick and vintage wallpaper, evokes whimsical memories of the childhood home. The sweeping arches, brass fittings, rounded joinery and tongue-in-cheek décor selection all serve to reinforce this sense of homely nostalgia. The twinkles of scores of lights reflected off mirrors bathes the timber, brass and brick interior in a warm glow that spills out onto the street and, come evening, draws customers in from the cold Melbourne street.
